Vision
We make experiences that are designed to leave something behind — a remnant, a residue, a small heavy thing the body remembers. Theater, film, performance, installation, publication, object. The medium is whichever one the idea asks for.
Philosophy
The studio was founded on a single sentence. Experiences end. What remains matters more. That sentence is older than us and it will outlast us, and that is the point.
We work slowly, in small rooms, with people we trust. We don't make a piece because we can; we make it because we have to. Often that means making less, and giving more.
We don't separate theater from film from publication from object. They are all the same instrument played in different rooms. The work is the work.
